My name is Steve Addison, and I’m the VP of Business Development for Cosaint – a company that provides web-based end-user information security awareness training courses, and policy signature management solutions to clients ranging in size from as few as 10 students, to over 20,000 students.
Security awareness training is critical to most businesses, non-profits, and government agencies. It exists at the intersection of 3 areas – information security, education and training, and (increasingly) regulatory compliance.
This is a field that I’ve been working in for the last decade – designing, developing, marketing, selling and delivering both classroom and web-based security awareness training classes to clients ranging from small local businesses to a complete state government and some large multinationals. And, in the process, I think I’ve stumbled across a few things that work, as well as others that don’t!
